Friday morning we got up and decided to try out the pool area at the MGM.  (The weather was in the mid-to-high 20's the whole time we were in Vegas, it was just beautiful).  They have a cabana grill by the pool so we had breakfast there and lounged until early afternoon.  We had a lot of plans for later that night so I had a little nap to prepare.  It was finally time to get a little further down the strip.

Around 4pm we decided to take a cab to Harrah's, where we got tickets to a topless show  called Skintight.  The show didn't start until 10pm so we headed up to the Venetian.  Duane took me on a gondola ride and we looked around the shops.  There was actually a shop there that we recognized from TV, when the controversial Michael Jackson interview aired it actually included a clip of him shopping for ridiculously expensive vases and paintings at this store in the Venetian.  We headed over to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for dinner which is a part of the Flamingo.  If you are ever in Vegas you really should stop in there for a meal.  It was so entertaining and fun.  There was an erupting volcano! And who doesn't enjoy some Jimmy Buffet tunes?  After dinner, we went to the Imperial Palace for the auto show...I knew that there happened to be a Marilyn Monroe car there!!!!  We were done just in time for the show.

When Skintight let out at 11:30 I was absolutely beat it had been a busy day!  We were about to grab a cab when Duane saw a Frozen Drink bar.  We got a couple of Dreamcicles and decided to walk up a little to the Bellagio to catch the fountain show.  It was truly amazing.  We just kept walking and sipping away ....and before I knew it we were back at the MGM!

MAP OF THE STRIP

The pool area at the MGM was truly amazing.  Too bad we only made it there once.

There was waterfalls and a lazy river.

This is actually inside the Venetian.  The ceilings are painted like the sky it was absolutely gorgeous.

There are canals throughout the shops just like in Venice.

The staff at Margaritaville walk around on stilts.  It was a blast to eat here and the frozen margaritas were awesome!

The volcano erupted and the mermaid slid down it into a margarita pitcher.

This is me in front of the car Marilyn Monroe actually drove in the movie "The Misfits".  I am wearing my replica MM dress from the same movie.

This was outside of Harrah's where we went to see "Skintight".

The lights on the strip really are awesome this is the Paris.

Duane and I are sipping away on our Dreamcicles while enjoying the fountain show at the Bellagio.  We are lucky we went when we did because the power went out the next night.  The next photo is a professional Arial shot that I obviously didn't take.
