If you are looking for a book to read, this isn't the one for you. There is very little text but LOTS and LOTS of photos. This book spans Marilyn's entire life. I would say the majority of photos are directly out of her films. However, there are lots of great candid shots too. Most are black & white but there are some colour shots as well. I would say this is a great book for anyone's collection due to its sheer volume! I'm sure you will find some photos you have never seen.
If you have a chance to pick it up in the secondary market I would!
