Monday we got up and headed for the airport.  We sat and enjoyed some fresh Cinnabuns before boarding the plane.  It was really cool to be able to see the MGM from the window of the plane as we departed.   We left Vegas at 11:00am and arrived in Cleveland at 6:00 pm (our time).  With a quick 1 hour wait for our connection we left Cleveland at 7:00pm and arrived in Toronto at 7:50pm.  The ride on the little plane this time was so quick that the stewardess didn't even make all the way down the isle with beverages before we started to descend.  We were the second last row this time and she basically tossed us each a can :)

 
Duane thought maybe he would get lucky in the airport.  I spent my last 10 bucks on Elvis....nothing.

 

 This was the view from the plane as we were waiting to take off.  I wish I had got a shot of the Luxor at night because a blue light shoots out the top of it into the sky.

So what everyone wants to know....no we didn't hit the big one...and no we didn't get married :)

I brought a certain amount of money to play with each day and I spent it.  I had lots of fun doing it.  Penny slots!! How cool is that!

Drinks...yes folks, they really are free if you are sitting at a slot machine.  I would normally wait for the waitress to be heading down a row before I would sit down at a machine.  They will even bring you a bottle of water so keep that in mind if you are heading off to do a lot of walking.  

We went to 8 different Casino's and we barely saw half of the strip.  You just can't see it all!  They were all beautiful (especially the Luxor and Caesar's) but the decor in the MGM suited me the best.   I just love that old Hollywood feel.  Next I want to try the NY, NY.  Inside it really looked like the streets of New York.  They even had manhole covers with fake steam coming out!!

I would definitely go back..
