Hi! My name is Ceasar (Wilburdan's PT Cruiser) and I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada. Thanks for stopping by my place here on the web. I guess if you are here you'd like to hear a little about me. It all started on October 24, 2000 when I came into this world. I have 8 brothers and sisters, some of them have different colours and are called Tri, but a couple are just like me, red and white. My fur-mommy's name is Freckles, which explains where my paws got all their spots from.
I didn't come to live with my new Mommy and Daddy until Dec. 23, 2000. Lucky for me they had researched my breed before hand and they knew better than to buy a puppy from a pet store. They waited until they found a reputable breeder and when Mommy called she was stunned to find out that there just happened to be a litter of puppies available. I guess I was pretty irresistable because when they came to see us they made it clear that they were just there to look. Well, needless to say, they put down a deposit for me and in a couple weeks they came to take me to my forever home.

I'm pretty lucky because I still get to see some of my siblings.  This is a photo of my brother and sister, Jack and Poppy.  They are pretty special pups because they get to walk around in circles and win lots of ribbons!

We go to BHCC picnics and events so I get to play with my family every now and then, as you can see below there is quite a resemblance.

And we sure have fun!  I've seen a lot of neat costumes on bassets but this one at the summer picnic was the best!

I sure have grown a lot in the past year, but I'm still what you might consider a small basset.  I was the second runt of the litter and all my brothers and sisters are bigger than me (except for Timbit who was the last born).   I weigh in at 46.8 lbs (as of Jan. 22/02) My parents have a hard time remembering when I was just a tiny puppy.  Here is an example, one picture when I was 8 wks old and the other at a year.

So be sure to hug your hound everyday, they grow up way too fast!
